What an incredible last few days. Fall is here and it means only one thing to me. REALLY GOOD SURF. Mainly the off shore winds are what make california so good this time of year, but it is also when we start seeing some decent NW swells. The swell this week wasn’t quite all it was cracked up to be, but did produce many head high waves and just a couple overhead ones too. My buddy james, who put me up for a couple weeks in El Salvador was on the trip with me. I am introducing him to cold water and COLD it was! The days were getting up to 80 and I never saw a cloud the whole 3 days. I did see a lot of shooting stars. One morning while we were on a dawn patrol mission, I saw 3 shooting stars within 5 seconds. That was a first for me. This is the best way for me to start my winter!

Hey Andy,
Thanks again for the OneYear Premier in Bend, Oregon. My daughter Madi (6 years old) thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and meeting you. She also loves her signed poster from you.
I’m not sure if you would remember, but at the premier I had mentioned to you that I spent a good chunk of last summer in Truckee. This year, it looks like my work will take me to that area again. Could you please give me the name of the church that you had recommended? Traveling to different towns so much and away from family, it is nice to find a good church.
Also, any good cheap eats in the area?? My entire crew would appreciate that.
We appreciated your testimony, and the fact that you took the time to meet with all of us in the audience.
Hope the riding is going well. I hear the mountain back home in Bend is getting some snow, but I’m down here fighting fires in Texas. Can’t complain, a blessing to have work & TX BBQ!!
God Bless,
